This October, I’m taking on a hair dare to help kids with cancer…no, I didn’t lose a bet, but I’m glad I’ve got your attention! 

Redkite’s Hairless Heroes Challenge is a big, hairy challenge for me — and I need your help to make it count. Just $53 can help a family fill the tank to get their sick child to hospital​​.

My cancer journey

In July 25 my daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma stage 2. half way through her chemo cycle, the cancer has shrunk a lot so it’s looking good so far. 

It has been a hard 2 months but we have had financial support from cancer organisations, even the smallest amount has helped, with petrol, groceries, even car repairs. 

That is why I would like to try and give back to help other families by participating in this fundraiser in October by wearing my colourful wigs on the 16/10/2025.
