Help me become a Hairless Hero for kids with cancer

For years, my hair has been a defining feature of my personal identity—a significant investment of time, resources, and self-expression, poured into weekly highlights and styling appointments. It's an aesthetic that has felt essential to who I am. Yet, this year has become a period of profound introspection and intentional change, during which I've proactively cut out many things I once believed were foundational to my life.

Now, I'm taking the ultimate step toward this new chapter: I’m shaving my head for charity and donating my hair. This move is far more than just a haircut; it's a physical and emotional declaration of a clean slate.

Redkite’s Hairless Heroes Challenge is the cause I chosen — and I need your help to make it count. Just $53 can help a family fill the tank to get their sick child to hospital.

Every dollar makes a difference. Please support what I’m doing and make a tax-deductible donation to my fundraising page.

My Updates

From 'Lego-Man Bowl Cut' to Long Locks... and Now, Bald for a Cause!

Friday 10th Oct
As a kid, I was destined for short hair. My childhood featured a perpetual 'lego-man bowl cut' because my hair was so thick (and my two sisters had the same predicament), it was just too much for my mum to manage! I'm pictured here around age 4, sporting my signature look. Back then, I couldn't have imagined the battles that other children were facing. Today, with my own thick, long hair that I lovingly look after, I'm taking the plunge and shaving it all off! I'm doing this to stand in solidarity with kids and their families who are fighting the biggest battle of their lives against cancer. Every donation helps support these amazing children. Please consider sponsoring my shave!

Hairdressers vs my hair

Sunday 5th Oct
Hairdressers have frequently commented on the exceptional volume and thickness of my hair, and I have lost count of the number of times this has occurred.

The associated expenses, including additional colour and, occasionally, the need for two stylists to blow-dry my hair, have also become a familiar expense. If I were to receive a dollar for each such instance, it would substantially contribute to my fundraising goal for shaving my head on October 21st.

As I do not have access to these funds, I kindly request that you consider making a donation to support a worthy cause.
